I would appreciate any help , as I am at a stand still. I cannot find information on my great grandfathers family.
William M. or W. RHODES. His first wife was Nancy Elizabeth Stubblefield. They had seven children. Their third child was my grandmother, Lue Emma Rhodes and she married Loranzy J. BRYANT. Lue Emma died in 1918 and is buried at the Fairview Cemetery in Clarendon, Donley Co., Texas. The other children were: Ida Ardella; Laura Anna who married James Womack: John Wesley who married Oda Pearl Lewis; Jimmy Richards; Rosa Belle; and Mary Josephine.
His second wife wife;Sarah Ann WYATT Overall. They had six children. Bertena married Lee Kerbow; Ruby Ardella; William W. Larkley; Charles Foster married Ruby King; Howard Bascom married Leda Millsap; and Audley married Lois Murff.
Sarah died on the 20 February 1920 and William died on the 25 February 1920. Both in Cooper, Delta Co., Texas and I was told they are buried at the Oaklawn Cemetery there. I have not been able to find any more information other than the names .
