I am new to online genealogy but have previous experience helping my adopted
fathers mother with my LDS family records. I am a direct descendant to
Richard Bowen and Anne Bourne who came from England. I have started my
gedcom based on data on rootsweb and ancestry.com sources. I am trying to
go back from me Vickey Elaine Roder b.1960 where I am listed in the most
recent book Alsey Bowen and Her Children written by Roslyn Collins Armsfield
in 1967. I have put this week beginning data on my line and am working with
my mother and aunt to fill in blanks. I seem to be the only one working on
my line as the online sources stop at Clement Bowen b.1905 and Margaret
Louise Bush b. 1920 in Tattnall County, Georgia, my grandparents. I have
added their children and info on aunts and uncles as it has been given so
far. So I hope this will continue our lineage to current days. I mostly
need to clarify good sources of data and who is not related to me in the way
of Bowens. Any hel!
