My Malinda or Lydia Richardson was born in the early 1800's in possibly
Ashe Co., Nc She married William Carpenter, his 1st. or 2nd. wife. Their
children were:
Collumbus (ca. 1839)
Jesse (ca. 1840)
Mary (ca.1841)
Caroline (ca.1842)
Creed Collumbus (June 9th. 1845
John Andrew (1847)
Elizabeth (1850)
Albert (1854)
Martha Jane (1857)
The first 5 or 6 children are said to have been born in Wilkesboro, Wilkes
Co., NC. I would like to find her parents and siblings. Twins, Houston and
Hasten Richardson, may have been related to her (possibly nephews)

The 1790 Wilkes Co. census lists a Danl Richison in the part of Wilkes that
is now Ashe or Alleghany. Listed with 4 males over 16 and 3 females.

The 1800 Ashe Co., NC census lists Canady Richardson, Daniel Richardson and
James Richardson.

Andrew Richardson was born 1831 in NC (possibly 1813) and died before
1880. He married Leannah (Leah) Isom 13-Nov.-1851 in Ashe Co.,NC

1870 Alleghany Co. census
Andrew Richardson age 43
Leah age 50
Hester age 15
Angeline age 10

1880 Alleghany Co., NC census:
Leah Richardson age 61
Haston age 26
Houston age 26
This Andrew was POSSIBLY a brother to Lydia.
