Hello Listers!
Dad (the Richardson) cracked up about the John Richardson Support Group and
everyone running away to the West Indies!

To business. The other day I accidentally looked at website about
covenanters (another family) who fought the English against having the state
religion imposed and there was a John Richardson who was transported to
Jamaica as a slave about 1770!

It may not 'pan out' bcause there are a lot of Richardsons down there
now.....but one can hope!

It's so romantic. Our Richardson is meant to have come from Scotland and
married a Marie Antoinette Anderson whose family were Hugenots and escaped
from persecution in France.

Just wanted to let you know after your support and wonderfully crazy
hilarity! <grin>

Now to try and discover more - the fun starteth!
