Thanks for your referral to the Stephen Richardson - Mabel Marsh family.
This is probably from the Rosell Richardson book, or the Doreen Potter Hanna
book. Both have this Lucretia Richardson as a daughter of that family. But
that Lucretia married Benjamin Jewett, not Chester Cady.

The Hanna book has Lucretia Richardson marrying Chester Cady, then a year
later marrying Benjamin Jewett. Yet she and Chester Cady raised a family of
10 children and are buried next to each other in the Sabin Cemetery in
Pomfret CT. Much confusion in some of these books!

There are several Lucretia Richardsons in New England in this time frame.
I have found the marriages of most of them -- always to other names. My
Lucretia R. married Chester Cady in 1786 in Pomfret (Windham Co.) CT.

If you come across any other candidate for this Lucretia Richardson (1768
- 1847), please let me know. Thanks.
