my husband, Francis Buckner Richerson III, descends from Richersons of Caroline Co VA:
his father Francis Buckner Richerson, (b. 1917) son of
Frank Buckner Richerson and Martha Lewis Sutton. Frank (1878-1947) son of
James Reuben Richerson (1839-1898) and Kate Butler. James was son of
Reuben Broaddus Richerson (1812-1882) and Susan Saunders. Reuben son of
Thomas Richerson and Eleanor Broaddus.

In 1810 in Caroline a Thomas Richeson (sic) had a large household:
1810 Caroline County VA census Thomas Richeson
3 males under 1
1 male 10-15
1 male 16-25 (thus born 1785-1794)
1 male 45 and up (1765 or before)
1 female under 10
1 female 10-15
1 female 16-25
1 female 26-44

If this is ours, we only know of son Reuben Broaddus.

I would love to compare notes with anyone with info on Richerson, Broaddus, Butler, Saunders, etc. and the houses--Andalusia, White Plains, Auburn Hill.
