Fran Sawyer asks for information about the marriage of Edmond Richmond and
Huldah Frisbie. Her account differs in just enough particulars to suggest
separate source material from Joshua Bailey Richmond's.
Joshua Bailey Richmond in 1897 self-published "The Richmond Family 1594-1896"
(available from Higginson, or as LDS microfilm 301121), a large genealogical
volume.
JBR states that "Edmund6 Richmond [page 138, #780] (Ephraim5, Silas4,
Samuel3, John2, John1) was born in New Milford, May 3, 1765. He married,
December 1, 1875, Huldah Frisbie of Washington, Conn. The lived in New
Milford, Conn, till the fall of 1817, where he was killed soon afterwards, by
the falling of a tree. His wife died soon after his decease."
Their children are those listed by Fran Sawyer.
John2 married Abigail Rogers, the daughter of John Rogers who came over on
the Mayflower in 1620. I descend from John2 in my mother's family (I have two
widely separate Richmond lines), and my daughter Miranda is the founder (and
so far the only member) of the B'nai HaPerach Iyar, the Society of Jewish
Mayflower Descendants.
