Margaret Richmond was born 3 April 1826 in Ireland. It is family tradition
that her family came to America during the year she was born. She married
Joseph Seabury Linnell in ca 1848 probably in Lenawee County, MI. Joseph and
Margaret later moved to St. Joseph Co, MI and then to Norton County, Kansas.

The earliest record I have found so far on Margaret Richmond Linnell is that
she was member of the First Congregational Church of Clinton, MI. She joined
the church in 1850 with a letter from the President of the Church of Tecumseh,
Lenawee, MI. Also in the membership is Andrew Richmond with wife Elizabeth
and daughters Eliza Ann and Matilda. They all joined the church by profession
March 1, 1849. Are these Margaret's parents? Do you have any ideas where I
could find more information?
