Stephen 4--Quaker preacher (#116 JBR)
Adam 5 -- Quaker (#329 JBR)--someone else proved him as a patriot for
the DAR through his daughter Dorcas -- since he was a Quaker his service
was civil and he was a sealer and packer during the Am. Rev.
Stephen 6 (after the Am. Rev. the family, along with Adam, moved to New
York) DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE STEPHEN DIED??
Manning 7 (born in NY but moved to Pekin, Illinois then on to Humboldt
County, CA to be with son and back to Pekin, IL)
Sanford 8 (Pekin IL to Los Angeles then to Humboldt Co, CA)
Roy Ernest 9 (California)
Velda Lily Richmond Ginn 10 (California)
Living Ginn 11 (California)
Heidi Ginn Egger 12 living (California) -- that's me
and then my two sons (generation 13) living in California
I have a lot of information on Manning, Sanford and Roy Richmond if
anyone is descended from this line. I need to update my family
genealogy on Ancestry. COM but it is out there if you are interested or
you can email me. I'm always willing to share.
Also, does anyone know why the Richmonds left Rhode Island after the
American Revolution and went to New York? -- they we in Herkimer County
then Adam died in Genesee County.
I am just speculating that John1 was a Puritan. We think that only
Puritan's could "buy" into a town (Taunton) to support the "church".
Anyone else have some ideas??
