If you have ancestors in Chenango, Madison or Otsego Co., here in NY, I
will research for you and take digital pictures of any grave stones you need.
I am not even sure where Rensselaer County is. Sounds Dutch so maybe by
Albany and down the Hudson River towards NY City???
If any of you are ever planning a genealogy searching trip in NY, the
first place that you need to stop, as it is on the way from RI....you drive
right through it, is The New York State Archives Albany. That's where
everything is kept way back to the beginning. I need to get there too. When
I come from RI back home here I always say I should make time to stop and
stay overnight. It is an hour and a half from my house on I88 so I could do
a day trip but I think staying overnight would be more productive.
