Hi List-

I feel like I need to respond to all the Ancestry.com bashing. I have no
connection to them but have subscribed to them for about a year now. When I
first started doing genealogy on the computer, I found their site before I
found rootsweb. I use both of these sites on an almost daily basis. I have
never have problems accessing the Ancestry.com site (except around 1 AM PST
when I should be in bed anyways :-) ) and have ordered several items from
their on-line store with no problems. I would love to see free access to all
genealogy records all the time, but until that happens, I will gladly pay
the fee to access the Ancestry records. I love the new census images, too.
Granted, I have very fast access to the net so the pages come up almost
instantly but as modems and internet access improve, these pages will be
quickly accessible and useable to more people.

Just my two cents....

Wendy
