Thank you to all who responded, especially Florence's website map. I recommend other
RI gen. researchers to check it out.
It was helpful to learn Conanicut is an island and the history of its use in
colonial times. And also helpful for me as a West Coaster researching my strong New
England ancestry, to have a visual of the surrounding areas of North Kingston,
Portsmouth, Newport, etc.
