Rev. Mr. MANN, and Thomas MANN, Esq. - Same man? Surely they are? Why the
different descriptions two days apart? Anyone else have a MANN performing a
marriage in Smithfield, Prov, RI?

Also Arnold found all of these records and transcribed them... why weren't
these referenced to the volume and page #? It says more... what does this
mean? I guess I need to find out more about the origin of the records I
received.

Can anyone tell me more about the American publication referred to? Is this
accurate? Are there any copies still available (microfilm)?

The last date, January 29, 1828 is the date that the marriage was printed in
the "American" which was a publication of that time, I believe a newspaper,
