I am looking for the parents of one Smith THORNTON born about 1793 in
Providence, Rhode Island. He later lived in Norwich, Chenango County, New
York where he married and began a family. I know there were many THORNTON's
in Providence area in the late 1700's - early 1800's. Does anyone know who
Smith belongs too?

Any and all help would be appreciated. I will be glad to share any
information I have collected on the Smith THORNTON family.
