Well... whoever they were ... the parents of Lydia (??) Colvin Burgess.
Lydia Colvin married to Sampson Burgess in 1842 in "Friends" Church in
Providence. However, she was born 1815 ... so I am beginning to think her maiden
name might not have been COLVIN. There were several COLVIN families who were
Quaker in the period/place you mention.
I am hopeful that someday the missing or misplaced quaker records for
this period will be rediscovered.
