I have found the easy way is to check Street directories.
Which often have date of death , Or at least month .


Then you can look it up in one of the local Libraries .
The RI Historical Library on Hope street has most old newspapers .

Also you can E-mail Nara for A Naturalization record check .

May not give Parents but may if lucky give County Origin .

Also you could right to Parish and see if they have
Baptismal or Marriage records .
