You might try getting the will of either Rufus or his father. Try
www.sampubco.com

Another option is to go to rootsweb.com. Click on Message Boards.
Then enter the name Smith in the board search box. When you get to
that board type in Rufus and see what comes up. Someone else might be
doing work on your Rufus.
