Hi! I am looking for Shadrack Roberts, first found in Rowan Co. in 1768
tax List.

Shadrack Roberts m. Sarah Katharine Turner 1773 Rowan Co.
Shadrack is somehow connected with William Roberts, Sr. and his wife
Elinor Mahon. May have later married their daughter Elinor?

By 1800 Shadrack moves to Grayson Co. (now Carroll Co.) VA. Son
Lewis is born 1800. May also have older son named Aaron.

1810 Grayson Co, Tax List, Shaderick Roberts listed.

Lewis marries Penelope Day in 1821 in Carroll Co.

1830 Lee Co. Census has Lewis Roberts listed.

1850's Lewis Roberts and son Shadrack R. are listed as early settlers of
Wise Co. Other sons are Galen Marion, Ira Henry,William L. daughters
Cora Lucinda, Nancy, Katherine, Louisa, Anna.

Does anyone know who Shadrack's father is? Possibly Vincent Roberts,
listed with Shadrack in NC Continental Army Claims List (from Caswell
Co. NC- at that time Orange Co.) If so, why was Shadrack living in
William Roberts household in Rowan Co. in 1768? William is the son of
John and Enor Roberts of Baltimore Co. MD.

What other children did Shadrack have besides Lewis and possibly Aaron?
