Need the maiden name and parents for Mary A. ROBERTS
b 1812 OH. She was the mother of Francis ("Fanny") Emily
ROBERTS b 1847 Crawford twp, Wyandot Co, OH, my husband's ggrandmother.
I also need the names of her husbands. She married
1st <abt 1832 in OH> Mr. JOHNSON and had at least 3 ch. in
OH and was widowed(?). She married 2nd <abt 1844 in
Wyandot Co., Ohio?> Mr. ROBERTS born <abt 1812> in NY
and had at least 2 more ch.

The earliest record I've found is on the 1850 Crawford twp,
Wyandot County, Ohio census on pg 280 Family 484 (she was
living in a neighborhood beside 58 yr old Jane WILLIAMS b NC
(her mother?)and close to a Jeremiah WILLIAMS (her brother?)

Susan JOHNSON 12 b OH
Allen JOHNSON 8 b OH
Mary ROBERTS 5 b OH
Fanny E. ROBERTS 3 b OH **(married 11 years later-
July 18, 1861 Mahlon James WARD in Hancock Co, OH)
John JOHNSON 17 b OH-Laborer

I could not find Mary A. ROBERTS in the 1860 census.
Being a < young widow?>1 at age 38, with young
children she probably married again soon. And she might
be the Mary A. ROBERTS I found in the LDS-IGI file who
married a Levi CALDWELL 1 Nov. 1853 in Wyandot, Co.
I haven't found any more about Levi CALDWELL and
that Mary A. ROBERTS.

By the start of the civil war in 1861 her daughter, Fanny E.
ROBERTS was 14 and had married and with her husband,
Mahlon J. WARD had moved to Ft Wayne, Indiana.
The other 2 daughters, Susan JOHNSON 24 and
Mary ROBERTS 16 had also probably married.
And her 2 son's Allen JOHNSON 22 and John JOHNSON
28 were old enough to fight in the Civil War.
