A Robertson Miscellanea (continued):
_ROBERTSON/ROBINSON: MecklnbrgCoVA>Hardin CoTN_
--- I was surprised to see my correspondence to Angus quoted and posted
in both Robertson-L and Robinson-L, but, nevertheless, let me quiz both
you, Angus, and the combined lists' readership as follows, viz: "Does
any part of your own research (or that of others with which you may be
familiar) evidence clues to any relationship between the
well-established Henrico Co., VA, branch and a ROB*SON family group
which migrated ca. 1828 from Mecklenburg Co., VA, to Hardin Co., TN?"
This latter family included Thomas and Elizabeth (ROBERTS) ROBERTSON
(who were married 16 Jun. 1787 in Mecklenburg County), their son Major
ROBERTSON and his wife Sarah GREGORY (whose mother was a MONTAGUE), and
other relatives representing such families as ALLEN, BARNETT, GARRETT,
MAY, ROBERTS, and STONE. Many thanks for your review and comment.
Faithfully, /Tom Nash in Texas
