II Myrtle Lee Robertson b. 5 Aug 1877 Nemaha Co, Neb; d 4 Mar 1907 waldick,
Aitkin Co, Mn. Their three year old son, Loid tipped a lamp on himself
accidentally and caught fire. Myrtle tried to put out the fire by surrounding
him with her skirts, which also caught fire. The fire spread to the house and
Myrtle's father James tried to help Myrtle and Loid, himself sustaining burns.
Loid died that cold, sonw-on-the-ground night, and Myrtle died the next day.
(As told to me by her daughter and my grandmother, Helen Lavina Swartout
