If you will look at
http://www.shelby.net/shelby/jr/james_sr.htm
you will see a listing of many of the same persons.
But I no longer accept David #4 as the father of David #10 and his
siblings. I now believe that their father is the David identified as 3
(third generation) in Tom Robertson's listing of descendents of the
descendents of Nicholas Rob*son at
http://www.futuresouth.com/~muskrat/wanted1.htm
The reasons for my decision can be tracked among the docs shown in our
Robertson Archives webpage at
http://www.shelby.net/shelby/jr/robertsn/archives.htm
I have delayed changing this listing hoping that I could gather the support
of more researchers in my own line (and in particular that of my offline
benefactor and mentor!), but I suppose that I must go ahead and bring it
uptodate.
I believe this traditional lineage (for my line) comes from the work of
Edna Robertson Vacher. Edna's work is a heart-breaker in that it contains
so much error and so much truth. I have used it to find real cousins, but
it is a messy path.
I have also seen the same Mary Davies included in a listing for the
descendents of a Nicholas Robinson (not related to that mentioned above) as
his sister-in-law as I recall. I can't lay hands on that book at the
moment (you know the drill: it's here somewhere!).
I noted in your listing a James born in 1759. FWIW, I point out that this
is the same birth year as that for James "Horse Shoe" Robertson in both the
listings above and questioned in neither. He is a documented Rev War
patriot, a well-known character to SC history buffs, married Sarah Morris
Headen, moved to Tuscaloosa Co. AL in 1822, subject of a popular historical
novel of 1835, died in 1838, and is buried in Tuscaloosa AL in a
well-marked grave at "Robinson Bend" of the Black Warrior River (along with
30 or so of his clan).
The early lineage you list seems to have been well known to researchers,
and it must surely be that of someone, but I am confident that it is not
the correct one for my line.
