Cousins,
I just wanted to share the following with you. It started with a requested
for help on an Adair Co, KY Rogers line posted to the "other" Rogers list.
Knowing we have some connect to that area, I forwarded it to this list.
Dorene and Juanita picked up the ball and ran with it. They found some
information and we passed it back to Theresa. Here is her response. Great
work Dorene and Juanita!!!

Dear Dorene and Juanita,
Yes, This is them!
I have tears in my eyes right now. I have been looking for them for so long.
I hope this letter makes since I am still crying and hard to see the
keyboard at times. I am so full of
feelings right now. I am so grateful to you both.
You said there's a folder their with a letter from
Joseph EAST granddaughter and a picture etc.
Do you know how I would be able to get this info and picture? Or could I get
it?
Or the phone number to the place?
I have bugged the ROGERS-L list for some time now. You will never know how
much this means to me and how grateful I am for your kindness.
I may not be blessed with riches of the world, but I am truly blessed with
unsung hero's and angel's
and kindness of others that money can't buy.
I am truly grateful!
Thank You so very much,
Theresa

Virginia married a widow Nancy Rogers in Virginia. Nancy had a son Frank
Rogers. This is probably your Hiram Frank Rogers. Hiram married Maaalvina

> A Joseph East in the 1840 Adair Co. census, had 3 males under 5, 1 male
between 10-15, 1 male between 15-20 and himself between 40-50. There is a
picture of George East in the family folder if anhyone need it. Joseph and
Nancy had three children listed George East, James East and Alexander age 3.
