Hello Group,
I'm a new subscriber. Thanks to Jerry who saw my posting on the
Rogers Mail List and replied.

My initial query was for a William Rogers born 1777 Montgomery (now
Wythe) Co VA who had a daughter Mary Katherine Rogers born 1811 TN and
married
James Small about 1830. The James and Mary Small family is found on the
Roane Co Tn census 1850 (with 8 children) and 1860.

I've been informed Mary Katherine was the daughter of Wm Rogers
born 1777 who lived in Caliborne Co TN.
Question: How has that been proved?
