Joan,
Welcome to the Rogers site. I am a not very good member because every one
knows more than I do about
the Rogers family. But I print everything and use their information to
direct me and it really works!

I am from the direct line of Rev. Dr. William Rogers, and Mary Katherine
Rogers who married James Small line.
Their youngest child was my grandmother Margarette Ellen Small who married
Francis Ella Barnes. I have been
trying to find out more about James Small and it hasn't been easy except I
know James and Mary Katherine
died in an epidemic in the mid-1800s, not sure of the exact date and I
think are buried in an old cemetery outside of
Knoxville, TN at Pigeon Forge or Eagle Furnace on a little hill before you
cross a big river. I went there back in
the late 1970s and I can't find my notes. Their daughter Hester was
already married and took her younger siblings to
live with her in Arkansas.

Would love to exchange any information I have all the Small children and
quite a bit about them. Let me know what
you need and what you have Look forward to hearing from you and any other
Small descendants.
