Jerry and others:

I was looking through the 1900 census for Rogers. Some of the info by Edna
Perkins was incorrect.....
Stephen's mother in law did not die shortly after the death of his wife she
is alive in the census of 1900!!! This also give a month and birth year for
Lolla Rooka his daughter

1900 Census listed in Kingston Caldwell CO Mo
Rogers Stephen C Head Mar 1848 Occupation school teacher.
Rogers Lolla Rooka dau January 1876
Edwards Frances mother in law b Feb 1825 Ky had 4 children only one survive
Griggin Mary E Nov 1854 sister in law b Missouri occupation school teacher
--Both she and Stephen were probably teaching in Kingston at the time.

I think that Mary E Griggen's is a sister of Mattie's the only surviving
child of Frances Edwards. I would think from the photo we have of Mattie
(very young) it is safe to assume that Mattie would have been born between
1853-1856.

David B Rogers family is living in :
1900 Census
Lived in: Lathrop Township, Clinton County, Missouri
Series: T623 Microfilm: 849 Book: 2 Page: 98
Information we have on them is correct.

If I come up with additional info I will pass it on.....
