My grandparents were Patrick Rooney (17/03/1904 to 28/08/1973) born in Edenderry and Mary Elizabeth Culley (04/01/1905 to 01/09/1980) born at 36 Kings Avenue Dublin, married in st Peters in Edinburgh 4th march 1927, they came over here in the 1920s to start a family, brothers and sisters unknown but I remember stories of my grandfathers brothers immigrating to America, this I have yet to confirm.

My Granddads parents were Bernard Rooney (cattle dealer) and Margaret Ryan from Edenderry Ireland.
My Granmothers parents were Patrick Culley and Mary Rowley from dublin

I would like to hear from anyone from the Edenderry area of Ireland who has an interest in geneology and may help me in my search, by looking at cemetery inscriptions and talking to local Rooneys who might hold key information.
