Please forgive me for posting yet another chart/explanation of Mth
cousins N times removed, but some people (myself included) find
referring back and forth to a diagram with "F is B's cousin twice
removed" a bit confusing. Here the relations are right on the graph.
People baffled by the above style of explanation can somehow relate to
this one:

I'm tempted to add a quick explanation of what Mth Cousins are and
what Times Removed means, but the chart shows that nicely. Note:
relations are reciprocal (that is, I'm the first cousin once removed
of ny first cousin once removed) and it's easiest to determine the
relation from the perspective of the person in the earlier generation
(count the number of the common cousin relation, then the removals).
