I have a question that other PAF users may be able to help me with. I would
like to create a GEDCOM file with only my family's information (not my wife's
family) to give to my brother. In GIE, where you make GEDCOM files, you have
the option of including all records, including all the ancestors of one person,
or including all the descendants of one person. This is not quite good enough
for my purposes, because even if I instruct it to include all my ancestors, it
does not include all my ancestor's descendants. In other words, my second and
third cousins would not be included although our common ancestor would be
included.
Right now, I have to first include all my ancestors, then do a lot of work to
figure out which of those ancestors also have descendant information in the
database and include the descendants of each of those ancestors. Is there
an easier way to include all of my family?
