Folks,

I just started reading this newsgroup, so I apologize if I'm re-hashing old
business.

I have been into the "genealogy thing" casually for some time; I've been
waiting for the right PC genealogy program to come along. Speicifcally, I
would like one that has the following features:

- makes it easy to "browse" through ancesters/descendents and is
generally easy to use

- can keep track of children's children, and their children ad
infinitum

- is not necessarily geared to Catholics/Christians/whatever

- has room in each record for additional notes and information

- prints lots of nice/useful reports (like pedigree charts, family
group charts, and any other useful/interesting massagings of the data).

I really don't know what's out there for this, so please excuse my ignorance.

any help.
