Hello netlings,

Due to the lack of response from my first posting, I will again attempt to
elicit some responses. If there are enough responses, I will summarize and
post results to the net. Round two ...

I have a friend that is interested in porting over all of his hand written
geneaology records onto a computer. His main interests lie in the area of
maintaining/updating the database, and generating "family tree" type output.
My friend is a computer novice and would prefer information on shareware or
public domain software that would be the least intimidating to use with a PC
compatable computer. Any and all information
would be appreciated.
