i am looking for the town in my great-grandfather's entry papers called
nymbokej or nlymbokej (i got the name in a telephone conversation with
my aunt, who says the handwriting is beautiful but illegible). he had a
germanic name (weis) and listed himself as a subject of the empire of
austria-hungary. my family says he is from bohemia. my resources here
in south florida are limited for historical maps of this region, and this
name does not appear on any modern maps i can find.

can anyone help me?
