Subject: About ROOTS-INDEX submissions.

I've heard from a few submitters whose entries weren't included
in the recent index, for the simple reason that I never received
their e-mail. I don't know if RAND is a black hole or just
how hard we are to reach. However, I _do_ try to acknowledge
every entry I receive (usually within a day or two, though
I will be away part of next week, so there will be delays.) So
if you don't hear from me, try another address for me (I'm
or uunet!randvax!karen).

Or go ahead and post your entries. I know that in general one
doesn't want a note for one person to get propagated all over
the known universe, but since ROOTS-INDEX entries are by definition
to be shared, I see no harm in posting them. Just be sure to
say something about the ROOTS-INDEX in the subject line, and I'll
take it from there. (But do try e-mail first :-)
