Well I dont quite know how to say this but I have asked several times how
one gets into the ROOTS-L group (or where it is), and I never got a
response. At that point I never knew where any of the information was
being passed, and I still DO NOT other than the message that I have from
you today.

Sooooooo, I my thinking was that, I would just put a few of them
on the USENET soc.roots, to check if anyone liked it, and they did
so I put afew more, and ,etc,etc to now.

If they ROOTS-L is available to me ?
Where ?
How much ?
how ?
and when ?

If all the answers are yes, now, then PLEASE get-it-on because it does
sure does cost me a lot of time/effort in trying to show what is available
in the DOS world, which might be able to help the people here.

Where is ROOTS-L ?
or whereever it is if possbiel then sign me up NOW NOW NOW ! ! ! ! !

I have been on and using USENET for some time, and have been working my
Genealogy for a long time but .....would read it for a while....then stop
because I would never see anything to help me......so I would stop again..

Please dont take this letter the wrong way because I really do enjoy NEWS and
have been reading it since "notes", and pass News on to four other sites.

I have been reading a 'local Genealogical BBS' daily, and that's where
the INPUT was coming from which I put in soc.roots here.

I will attempt to send this msg on to 'Alf', and I really wasn't trying
to step-on-anyones-toes at all.

Thanks for your long note, and PLEASE send me some info about ROOTS-L ...
