I am seeking information on Anna Marie SCHMID/SCHMIDT who married
Wilhelm ANTES/ANDESS/ANDIS/ANDES/ANDERS/ANDOS (all variant spellings on
various documents and sources). She married Wilhelm sometime between 1741
and 1749 in either Frederick Co, MD, or (remotely possible) in PA. She
may be related to Philip SCHMIDT of Frederick Co MD at that time. She
either died shortly after 1749 or somehow terminated the marriage with
Wilhelm. Does anyone have any information on Anna Marie/Maria? She
could be buried in Frederick Co, MD, near Centreville MD, possibly
Cabbage Valley cemetery. After years of research on the ANDIS family by
many researchers throughout the U.S., one soul just recently confirmed
that this Anna Maria Schmid/Schmidt was Wilhelm's first wife and probably
bore at least 8 of his 12 children. So it is imperative that we Andises
find out what gives with Anna Maria SCHMMIDT. ANY help deeply
appreciated.
