Further to trying to save a photograph stuck to the covering glass. DO
NOT TRY TO REMOVE THE PHOTO without first soaking the glass and the
photo in warm (tepid) water. Soak it for an hour or more, and see if it
doesn't then separate from the glass fairly easily. I would then work
on the mold you refer to with a soft brush or cloth, while it's wet, in
one corner of the photo to see if you can remove it without damaging the
underlying emulsion. There will be damage to the emulsion from the
mold, but you may be able to remove at least some of it. Remember, easy
does it. Trying to remove the photo from the glass, dry, will destroy
the photograph.
