Subject: Van Hoosen's in IA and Lively Debate

Hello all,
quite an interesting week of emails. Such lively and sparkling debate,
(flames aside). One of the things i enjoy about Roots-L is the variety of
information. Whether it pertains to me or not, it is always interesting to
see what others are doing or looking for. Opinions as to procedures etc...
are always very interesting. As a graduate student i am used to lively
debate and alot of flames, especially if my paper is bad! hee hee. It is
great to see that even here people are not afraid to voice their opinions.
I have a policy about flames, (i dont do them), and to those who do, well I
have a delete key. Finally, Keep the interesting opinions and debates
coming, keeps life interesting!!
Now to my request--
Some time ago, I received an email about descendants of Abram Van Hoosen
son of Charles and Phoebe Van Hoosan. The kind lady gave me a contact that
was his granddaughter. Unfortunately, i was a victim of the notorious
computer crash and lost the information before i had printed out a hard
copy. (now i print vital information immediately, only took once for me to
learn!). If anyone knows ANY Van Hoosen descendants in Iowa please pass on
my plea for help in contacting the kind person who contacted me previously.
I have posted on the Iowa GenWeb site and hope that i might get lucky and
the person would see it, but since it has been several months since i had
posted it thought i would send a plea to the list once again.
Many thanks in advance for any assistance.
Tiffany :))
