Never tried to get records from Nat Cem but as a clergyman have done
services at several. Two suggestions; ask them what is the proper
procedure to follow to get the info you want and be sure to make a family
connection between you and deceased. The other issue may be that it is
still considered private info....not enough years have passed since the
death...like the census. Also, you might want to try the county of death,
if known. There was once (now?) a VA hosp at JB, if your relative died
there it should be recorded in that county. Don't know the county but it
should not be too hard to ferret out... Good luck!
