Oops! I goofed. The date Bill Steeves wanted is 1846, after the date for
the Pallot's Marriage Index. Still, there could be a microfilm of that
parish's records in the LDS Collection at SLC. Check your local Local
Family History Library (LDS). This parish is a little north and west of
the city of London as shown on the map in this book. These maps are for
an earlier period; it is altogether possible that St. Pancras has been
absorbed by the city boundaries (London) by now. There is a St. Pancras
Station on the London Underground (subway to us). The maps in the
Phillimore Atlas for parishes are in color and show by color coding where
those records, and/or duplicates of them are. St. Pancras is in the
ecclestiastical jurisdiction of the Peculiar Court of the Dean and Chapter
of St. Paul's Cathedral. There are some excellent books on English
research which will help you understand these terms.
