Hi George,

'Fraid I can't help you on the above, as none of my Millikens lived in
Iowa, to the best of my knowledge. However, you might try to find a copy of
"HISTORY OF THE FAMILIES MILLINGAS AND MILLANGES" by Gideon Tibbetts
Ridlon, Sr. His book was published in 1907, in Kezar Falls, ME and contains
846 pages plus a 36 page introduction! This book covers the Milliken,
Millikin, Millikan, Millican Milligan, Mulliken and Mullikin families up to
1907. It may have some incorrect info, but I do not know of any. It has my
father's generation and those as far back as I personally know, correctly
listed. I wrote James as Jas, on the Subject line, as that is how my dad
always signed his name.

Regards,

Don Milliken, retired these many years on beautiful Whidbey Island at the
north end of Puget Sound
