To ROOTS-L users, I found the following paragraph in the GenServ Guest
book last night. Thought you might be interested.
One really good thing about GenServ is that if you have a "crash" and
lose your genealogy data they will replace it for you IF you have
previously sent them a gedcom.
Worth while. Belive me.

Once in awhile, when reading the guestbook, there will be a comment
about the cost of joining GenServ. I have to reply to those who feel
it is too expensive. Where else can you find so much information while
sitting comfortably in front of your own computer? My husband is
over 65 and pays a mere $6.00 a year. Younger folks pay only $12.00
a year. We spent more than that for gas just to drive to our genealogy
library a few times. We were stuck on two of my husband's lines,
and, thanks to GenServ, he has broken through the brickwall and has
gone back four more generations. With the new info he found on
GenServ, he was able to prove up these lines. Cliff and his
assistance are doing us all a huge service by keeping this site
running so efficiently. Thanks GenServ. You are appreciated.
