Suggestion to owners of precious books.

Occasionally people write that they own a rare genealogy book, perhaps
a one-name genealogy, a county history, what-have-you, and they are
understandably reluctant to continually plop it on a copy machine glass
in order to send pages to other people.
My recommendation is to make a copy of the entire book -- one time.
Then copy from the copy to send to people.
Loose pages are much easier to copy than books, and your book is no
longer at risk.
An additional benefit is that YOU have an additional copy for your
deteriorating precious old tome!
