Lewis Watkins b. 1820's N. Ga. or S.Car. Confederate soldier
m Jennie Mathews, Union Court house S.C. Jennie d. Mar. 1864 Pine
Bluff, Ark.
Cora Serepta Watkins, b. Aug. 17, 1862 Pine Bluff, Ark.
Lewis m. 2nd. time had all girls so far as we know.
Lilly Dean
Orada
Clendora
Georgie May
Pearl
Phoebia Triphonica and Nancy Triphobia, twins, red heads as was
Lewis
Lewis and his second family spent several weeks visiting with
daughter Cora and her adopted parents in the 1870's in Colorado
Springs before moving onto California. Cora contacted him in the
1880's through the Masonic lodge in El Cajon, Ca. She received a letter
from him in 1903 from Safford, Arizona.
We have no married names of any of the children other than Cora our
grandmother.
