Would anyone know the major ports of Irish immigration to the United States
in 1850?
My Irish ancestors settled in Granville, New York, Fair Haven, Vermont,
Whitehall, New York and Watervliet, New York.

Fair Haven, Granville and Whitehall are quite near to each other. I know
that my Sullivan line were SLATERS and that my McLaughlin line worked on the
RAILROADS - both very typical occupations for the Irish.

All replys appreciated.
