I have found that it is important to investigate all stories told by
our grandparents, My grandfather said he had been in Andersonville in the
Civil War. When I ask a person who was a Civil War expert, I was told that
it was probably not true, since so few prisoner from Andersonville live to
tell the story. I proceded to to investigage and found papers proving he
had spent three months at Andersonville and then was traded. So it pays to
look into all stories, even ones that are hard to beleive.
