There is a 1880 Illinois census. I happen to have Adams Co. checked out
at my local library. The National Archives file is T9. Adams Co. happens
to be rolls 174 & 175. Your local library should be able to get the
films. Also, your local Mormon church probably can also. The reference
number would be different but they can help you. Also, remember the FHL
Catalog is now on line. You can see all the census that is available
there.
I happen to have the IL 1870 index on CD. I will look this evening and
see what I can find for you. If anyone else is interested in having me
look up someone in the index, email me direct, as to not burden the
group. This is an index only, gives head of household, age, place of
birth and page # on the actual census.
