I guess there were no docor's in the house as I didn't see any answers to
your question in the last few digests. I'm not a doc either, but looked in
a couple of my books from nursing school. Didn't find this anywhere. Can
tell you that "oculo" refers to the eyes, "pharyngeal" refers to the
throat, and "dystrophy" is a "disorder caused by defective nutrition or
metabolism". Most types of dystrophy involve atrophy or wasting of muscle.
Sorry I couldn't find more. Will check in some books at work tomorrow and
see if I can get you any more information.
