Just an update on my search for Ratsober. Frist I found out the Pommen is
actually Pommern which was given back to Poland after WW2 and the cities and
villages were given Polish names. Second, A lot of you fellow researchers
have emailed me and thought the town I may be searching for is actually be
Ratzebuhr, which is pronounced "rats-see-boor", very similar to my Ratsober.
Does anyone know if Ratzebuhr is in Pommern? Or if the name was changed by
the polish, what the new spelling may be? My deepest thanks goes out to all
who have helped me open some new doors! Thanks, Doug Strenke
