Be careful about accepting the usual nickname for some name. My great Aunt
Dolly actually had three given names - Ann Elizabeth Jane. I don't know
where the Dolly fit in there anyplace. I also had an aunt given the name of
Cordia Alice. One of her uncles saw the big brown eyes on that baby and said
she looked like a little Daisy. It stuck so much that she was married and
buried as Daisy Dene. I sure had a laugh when I found her married children
did not know her baptized name.
I wish I could find descendants of Ann Elizabeth Jane Risk Graves. Any out
there?
