Subject: Armed Forces Leave Bond

Anyone hear of an Armed Forces Leave Bond? I have one issued to an
individual who was in the Armed Forces in 1946, and the bond says it matures
1 Jan 1951. It was issued by the U.S. Government, and on the back it says
it was issued persuant to the Armed Forces Leave Act of 1946. I've tried
working with the Veteran's Administration to find out about this bond, but
have had no success.
